Open Call for six connected PhD projects (2024-2028) within the research priority area Urban Mental Health

The UvA Research Priority Area Urban Mental Health (UMH) involves a research collaboration between the three faculties FMG, FNWI, FG/AMC and the Institute for Advanced Study. The first period was from 2019-2023, the second period will be from 2024 through 2028 (UMH-2).

The UMH mission is to find new pathways that can be targeted with interventions to improve urban mental health that take into account the complexity and dynamics of mental health problems and mental health disorders in an urban environment.

For the second period, UMH awards PhD grants for research into fundamental, neurobiological, psychological, social, epidemiological, and translational research within the central framework of mental health in an urban environment.
